Sandbox fun in New Ulm

We were in New Ulm for granny's funeral recently. Two nights in a hotel and you did great sweetheart. We were able to meet many members of Daddy's family who live in other states and also little Oliver, the next addition to our family after you came. He's just a few months old. Another boy in the Fleming family. Imagine that!
Mommy sang tribute to granny at mass. Amazing Grace. That is Mama's way to honor those who leave us and help soothe the souls of those who remain with us. It was the first time I sang for Daddy's family and now I feel much more connected with them.
Grandpa Larry and Grandma Bev drove down to take care of you during granny's mass. Your so active baby, if they had not come mass would have been a nightmare and since mommy was singing, Daddy and Uncle Jason were reading, Mama Par had to stay in mass and Papa Jim's thumb is hurt so he can't lift you, that leaves no one else to watch you and keep you quiet! You really wanted to play with the dedication candles and that's a big nono. You took a car ride, had something to eat and took a little nap in the car. We were very thankful for the help.
We had dinner at the church, like usual then Daddy's cousin Tim invited us over to get away from the hotel for a bit and let you play. You preferred the sand box to all the other toys even though it was a bit windy (you love a nice breeze on your face.)

Your smile, dimples and baby blues were a huge hit with the family. Grandma Pat and Grandpa Jim sure loved showing you off. All and all a good trip though it was for a sad reason it was wonderful to get together with everyone.
Right now your sleeping in your crib, mommy is watching the news and laying with the dogs and Daddy is watching the wild game with his friends at Tony's.
I love you Crosby Dean so very very much. 😘
